Selfie problems? See how to solve it on your iPhone

🎞️ Step by step video:

If you encountered an error when taking your selfie to confirm your identity, don't worry! Typically, small adjustments to your iPhone's settings resolve the issue quickly.

1

Use Google Chrome as your default browser 🌐
Although the iPhone comes with Safari, we recommend using Chrome to ensure 100% compatibility with Unico technology.

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
• Scroll until you find Chrome and tap on it.
• Tap Default Browser App and select Chrome.

2

Allow access to the Camera and Location 📸
For your security, the iPhone system needs your authorization to capture the photo and validate the transaction.

• In the Settings app, go to the Chrome item.
• Check that the Camera option is activated (green button).
• Tap Location and change it to While Using the App. Make sure Precise Location is turned on.

3

Adjust permissions within the browser ⚙️
In addition to cell phone settings, the browser needs to be prepared to display the selfie screen.

• Open Chrome and tap the three dots (bottom right corner) Settings.
• Go to Content Settings.
• Make sure Block Pop-ups is Off (gray button).
• Tap Default site view and confirm that you are on Mobile device.

✨ Golden tips for your selfie to be approved:
Close other tabs: Only keep the selfie tab open.
Front light: Avoid facing away from windows.
Clean face: Remove sunglasses, caps or masks.
Wait for the circle: Hold the cell phone steady at eye level.
