Unico IDPay is a solution that securely and accurately guarantees the identity and ownership of the credit card used at the time of a purchase. For this analysis to happen, you need to capture a photo via the secure link sent to you. Our technology makes two assessments:
- 1. If the person taking the photo is live (that is, if they are taking the photo at that moment).
- 2. If the photo is of good quality and allows biometric identification of the credit card holder.
To process the photos received, we use the international standard, known as ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), the following specifications are required for capture:
- 1. Be in a well-lit place.
- 2. Hold the cell phone at your face level and look directly at the camera.
- 3. Ensure the photo comes out sharp (without camera shake).
- 4. Do not use facial accessories, such as caps, masks, glasses or any accessory that prevents your face from showing completely.
- 5. Our capture may ask you to make slight movements with the device or your head, to verify that you are performing the process live.
