How does the purchase validation process work?

The validation of your purchase is carried out by our Unico IDPay solution, which securely and accurately guarantees the identity of the holder of the credit card used at the time of the transaction. You make an online purchase with your credit card.

The store informs us that the purchase has been made. At this time, we ask that you validate the cardholder's identity.

How does ownership validation work?

Validation uses facial biometrics (a technology that reads specific points on the face) to quickly identify, from a photo, whether that person is the holder of the data and card used. Our technology can check if the person taking the photo is live and if they are the owner of the card.

When you enter the secure Unico IDPay link, you will be asked to capture a photo of your face (also called a selfie). If you have questions about how to do this, we have several tips in this link.

⚠︎ Attention: the person who must take the photo is the credit card holder, that is, the person whose name is printed on the card. If you made the purchase with someone else's card (for example, someone in your family), you need to forward the secure link so that the person who owns the card can take the photo.

After our system receives and analyzes the photo, Unico IDPay validates the information with the card issuing company and sends the return to the store quickly and securely.
